Wasps can't sting the Bulldogs

We hosted Woodstock today.
Final score - BBA 1, Woodstock 0

Goal scoring:
2nd Quarter
2:47 - BBA - Fiona Corbett, assisted by Piper Morgan on a penalty corner

Goal keepers:
BBA - Marley Clark - 0 saves (1st half), Emily Abbott - 1 save (2nd half)
Woodstock - Paige Stone - 1 save

This was a good battle today. Maeven Virgilio was so consistent and smart at center back for us - she picked the right moments to patiently wait to steal the ball and the right moments to jump past her opponent for the interception so she could move the ball up the field.
It was great for Fiona to get a goal on a penalty corner - we have been practicing those quite a bit.
And Marlee Gallagher had a great game at midfield - she added a spark to our transition game that we really needed today.

Each team had 4 offensive penalty corners.

Our record is now 5-1. Our next game is on Monday at Rutland.
