Vermont All State Music Festival Auditions
Champlain Valley Union High School
The Vermont All State Music Festival is an annual event supported by the Vermont Music Educators Association and operated by the Vermont All State Committee. The Festival offers musicians from Vermont's high schools the opportunity to perform in a band, orchestra, chorus or jazz ensemble under the direction of some of our nation's finest conductors. Three days of intensive rehearsals lead up to a series of performances involving all four groups.

BBA Instrumental Music Ensemble & Vocal Music Ensemble members are eligible to audition for the ensembles and Music Theory students are eligible to submit their compositions for a scholarship competition. Auditions are held in January with results posted in March for the May Festival, location TBD. BBA music students have participated in the Vermont All State Music Festival for decades with many in principal chair positions and as top ranking scholarship recipients. Current BBA music students began preparing material last spring for this year's audition scheduled for January 13th at Champlain Valley Union High School.
