The expectation for all students entering grades 9-12, is that they will read one of the books on the
BBA Summer Reading List. The list contains an assortment of formats including graphic novels and audiobooks, a range of reading levels (Lexile information is included on the list), and a variety of genres. The list was created with student and faculty suggestions and input. The intent of the Summer Reading Program is to nurture a love of reading and build community. Once students select their book, they should sign up for their
Summer Reading Discussion Group. Copies of the books will be available for purchase at Northshire Bookstore and will circulate through Manchester Community Library (MCL). All BBA Students regardless of where they live are eligible for an MCL library card. Ebooks and audiobooks can be accessed through the
Sora app using a BBA email address. Incoming ninth graders will be receiving their school email information over the summer.
